ZenPlugs Antibacterial Replacement Stethoscope Earpieces

ZenPlugs Molded Stethoscope Earpieces Kit gives you comfortable antibacterial earpieces at home. It only takes a few minutes.  Because they are molded they are far more comfortable than standard earpieces. They won't split and fall off.  They may even improve the quality of quiet sounds, helping your diagnosis and your patients.  The kit is far quicker and much less expensive than having your ears molded by an audiologist. We've made a video highlighting the features.  You can see it here.   Because they are antibacterial they may even help prevent stethoscope acquired otitis externa. You can catch this from the earpieces on your beloved stethoscope.

They are available in a range of bright colours. You can personalise your stethoscope.   Currently stethoscopes all look the same. This makes it highly likely that yours will be picked up accidentally if you leave it lying around.  With a nice bright pair of stethoscope earpieces you have a stethoscope anti-theft device.

ZenPlugs Molded Ear Plugs are leaders in their field of ear plug design and development.  The process was developed 5 years ago when Dr Toby Bateson found the earpieces on his stethoscope to be sorely inadequate.  They made his ears sore and painful and didn't last long before splitting and coming off. They tended to be made of weak rubber which didn't last as long as the rest of the stethoscope.  They were also unhygienic as they were difficult to clean.

Dr Bateson decided he could do better than this and developed the ZenPlugs Process to make much better stethoscope earpieces.  Using a special thermoplastic he made über comfortable earpieces which outlived his stethoscope.  Because they were firmly attached to the arm they didn't keep coming off all the time.  Certain sounds were clearer and background noise was excluded. The earpieces were ideal for use in emergency situations.

He quickly realised his amazing new process could also be used for molded ear plugs and earphones as well as earpieces.  He founded ZenPlugs in 2009 so could develop the products and bring them to market. He wanted others to benefit from the new process he discovered.  The ZenPlugs website has a unique range of products.  The blog is second to none when it comes to information on ear disorders, ear infections and other-based information.  There are posts on surfer's ear and swimmer's ear as well as tinnitus and deafness.
